HOW IT WORKS
- Request a non-binding quote and share your event concept
- Together we discuss the desired illustration style, branding and setup
- Custom paper, products or pre-drawn concepts can be prepared in advance
- On the day itself, I arrive about 30 minutes early to set up the illustration station
- Guests receive their personalised illustrations or products during the event
PRICES
Every event is unique, which is why pricing depends on location, duration and your specific wishes.
My rates start at €735 for up to 3 hours of live illustration on-site. For bookings longer than 3 hours, a hourly rate of €225 applies instead. (prices are excl. 9% VAT)
Standard branded paper is included in every booking. Travel costs are calculated separately.
For international events, different pricing may apply.

WHAT DOES LIVE ILLUSTRATION COST?
My rates start at €735 for up to 3 hours of live illustration on-site. For bookings longer than 3 hours, a hourly rate of €225 applies instead. Travel costs are calculated separately.
HOW DOES LIVE ILLUSTRATION WORK?
You can book live illustration for a set number of hours, where guests who are interested can receive a portrait during the event or, you can choose a tailored booking where all guests are illustrated.
HOW LONG DOES A PORTRAIT TAKE?
On average, I spend 6–8 minutes per person. A couple portrait takes around 13 minutes. This means I illustrate about 8-10 guests per hour.
WHAT ARE THE PORTRAITS MADE ON?
All portraits are created on matte 300 gsm A5 paper.
WHAT DO YOU NEED ON LOCATION?
I bring all my drawing materials and paper myself. The only things I need on location are a table and a chair to work at. It is also important that there is sufficient lighting, especially for evening events.
CAN I BOOK YOU FOR AN EVENT ABROAD?
Yes. I am based near Utrecht, but I also travel internationally for events.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE INCLUDED IN ONE ILLUSTRATION?
As many as you like. Please keep in mind that larger group illustrations take more time per portrait.
ARE FACE PORTRAITS FASTER THAN FULL-BODY PORTRAITS?
No. Both styles take roughly the same amount of time. Face portraits focus more on facial detail, while full-body portraits include outfit details.
I'M EXPECTING MANY GUESTS, CAN YOU DRAW FASTER?
Yes, I can create 4-minute minimal line art sketches which allow about twice as many guests to be illustrated within the same time.
CAN THE PAPER BE PERSONALISED?
Yes, the paper can be customised with event names, logos or your event theme. It is also possible to include a pre-designed illustration such as a product illustration, outfits or a venue as a backdrop. Standard personalisation is free.
WHAT HAPPENS IF NOT ALL GUESTS CAN BE DRAWN?
No problem. Additional portraits can be created afterwards in my studio based on reference photos. Please let me know in advance or during the event so I can take the right photos on-site.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK FOR LESS THAN 3 HOURS?
Yes, that is possible. However, the starting rate still applies.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS REQUIRED?
No, there is no minimum number of guests required. I have worked at large-scale events with over 200 guests, as well as intimate gatherings with just a small group of 10 guests.
For smaller events, there is often more time and attention per portrait, which can create a very personal and intimate experience for your guests.
